About this Cause

Bags of Hope provides free weekend food provisions to students experiencing food insecurity in the Lake Norman and greater Charlotte area. They serve an average of 750 students across 34 local schools. On Monday, November 10 (9:30–11:30 AM), Women in Consumer Finance will support their mission with a volunteer food-packing session at The Westin Charlotte. Together, we’ll prepare care packages filled with groceries and uplifting notes for students to take home over Thanksgiving break. To participate, please make a minimum donation of $35, which is the cost to feed one child over Thanksgiving break.
